What you'll be doing;
  • Responsible for the execution of the preventive / corrective maintenance program, new installations and certification of works, management of subcontractors and general support to the management of the contract.
  • Responsibility for planning (with the aid of a scheduler) works for a small team of multi-skilled personnel
  • Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task Lists and ensure these are always kept valid.
  • Carry out Periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
  • All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings
  • Flexibility to work around Maintenance Shutdown's
  • Following training be familiar with all Cleanroom rules and regulations
  • Participate in Audits of the Mechanical and Electrical plant rooms and follow up on actions
  • Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data using published maintenance excellence KPI results
  • Ensure that the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance man-hours.
  • Maximise maintenance wrench time utilisation through effective planning.

What we're looking for;
  • Mechanical & Electrical experience and full understanding of all statutory rules and regulations
  • Time served Electrical apprenticeship - essential
  • BS 2391 Inspection & Testing - essential
  • 18th Edition - essential
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems,; general canteen/kitchen equipment
  • Building Management Systems and Preventive Maintenance Systems
  • Experience with a computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment
  • Experience a documented Permit to Work System
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID's/electrical drawings
  • Understanding of SOP's.
  • Understanding of Basic Instrumentation
  • Methodical & Analytical approach to work
  • The appointment is subject to satisfactory clearance in accordance with the stipulations laid down by the Disclosure and Barring Service and enhanced security clearance
