Hartwell Manufacturing are a well known and long established privately owned company that has been providing machining and fabrication services to industry since 1974. The company is based out of Ossett, Wakefield and Ecclesfield, Sheffield which provides quick and easy access to all major routes throughout the UK. They work from 2 large manufacturing units boasting 80,000 sq ft+ capacity each and offer a range of services including heavy steel fabrication, mechanical pipe fabrication and installation, acoustic enclosures and thermal store/buffer vessels.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated young person or recent graduate to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collate data dossiers for various projects, employing a methodical approach to ensure accuracy as projects progress.

* Write inspection and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) reports for completed work.

* Update and create spreadsheets to track project data.

* Generate NDE requests for subcontract suppliers.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure all relevant paperwork is present and accurate.

* Perform general administrative tasks within the QA team.

As the successful candidate develops in this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Liaise with client QA personnel to investigate and resolve non-conformance issues.

* Write Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), conduct investigations, and implement preventative measures.

* Contribute to the development of our Quality Management System (QMS) by introducing new ideas and utilising your PC skills.
