Commercial Accountant

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting the central finance team objectives by delivering accurate and timely financial information, driving operational improvements, and enhancing overall profitability.

Main Responsibilities

Communicate accounting schedules and resolve issues affecting commercial teams.
Identify and address financial risks and opportunities promptly.
Maintain customer-focused operations and foster relationships with finance and internal teams.
Lead process improvements and support business enhancement projects.
Ensure accurate and timely commercial margin reporting and controls.
Execute key P&L controls and support margin-impacting projects.
Pursue professional development and demonstrate effective work practices

Required

A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing change, and explaining financial data to non-financial personnel.
Strong ability to translate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
