Job Description:

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join a private school in North Lincolnshire. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with Additional Needs, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Education Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead teacher with whole-school responsibility for pupils with Additional Needs, including EAL and SEN.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure the delivery of inclusive education practices.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students with Additional Needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to students' progress and support plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Relevant SENCO Qualification
  • Extensive experience working in a school, college, or similar educational environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence in students and effectively communicate with parents.
