Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our niche, healthcare client based in Liss in their search for a Senior Procurement Specialist/Procurement Manager on a 6-12 month fixed term contract ideally to start immediately

This is a senior role and you must have experience in a Procurement/Supply Chain role, you will report directly into the Head Of Operations

Duties include but not limited to:

• Build strong relationships with UK, EU and International suppliers to maximise supply chain effectiveness
• Lead and manage a small team to ensure business needs are met
• Continuous improvement of the supply chain process and implement this across the business
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify supply challenges and risks
• Ensure the purchasing function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost saving
• Carry out performance review meetings with suppliers and customers to ensure they are happy and look for ways to improve

Ideally you will:

• Have experience in a procurement or supply chain role
• Have 5 years experience with commodity knowledge
• Be able to manage a team
• Be able to lead from the front
• Be comfortable in making changes
