CAD Technician

Rail & Civil Infrastructure - Glasgow

First People Solutions is looking to speak with CAD / Civil Technicians in the Glasgow area who are open to new opportunities. We are working with a multidisciplinary consulting engineer, known for their rich history of engineering and design across the UK. With involvement in a variety of key sectors, this is a chance to join a team with a strong reputation.

This role is ideal for a skilled CAD or Civil Technician with proven drafting experience. You'll work on an array of engaging design projects, including rail, bridges, and civil infrastructure, as part of an established and dynamic team.

What we need from you:

HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
3 years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
Proven experience working on civil design projects in rail, bridges, highways, and/or marine
Confident in producing accurate drawings and ensuring drawings meet industry standards
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
