An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a supportive and positive team in an Secondary School. The school are seeking to employ a learning support assistant who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in understanding the curriculum.

It is important for the school that they meet an Assistant with a passion to support and will inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve beyond their expected potential. LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT, ISLINGTON
· Location - Islington, London
· Position- Teaching/learning support Assistant - No previous experience required
· Start date - ASAP
· Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
· Contract type - Temporary with the view to go permanent after
· Full time/part time - FULL TIME ONLY
· Minimum rate of pay GBP 90 per day
· Hours - 8am - 3:30 pm (full day) TEACHING/LEARNING ASSISTANTS DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Work with 5 - 6 students who require additional support - EAL and SEN Supporting the class teacher in lessons Run your intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils that need it the most. Be involved in running extracurricular activities Writing reports and feeding back to teachers, SENCO, external agencies and parents
