CNC Machine Operator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC Horizontal Borers and Gantry Mills, ensuring precision machining to meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components as per specifications.
🔹 Make necessary edits to NC part programs to optimise machining processes.
🔹 Select and pre-set tooling according to "Tool Sheets."
🔹 Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (Micrometers, Verniers, CMM).
🔹 Maintain tooling, equipment, and work environment in an orderly state.
🔹 Conduct basic machine lubrication and maintenance.
🔹 Work with Siemens 840D control systems.

What We're Looking For:
✅ Experience operating CNC machines in an engineering environment.
✅ Ability to work with fine tolerances.
✅ Knowledge of machining processes and ability to read technical drawings.
✅ Experience with metric/imperial conversions.
✅ ONC, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification (preferred).
