Matchtech is currently seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join their Highways team on a contract basis. This role involves supervising the highway drainage system, road upgrades and general civils.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and overseeing highway drainage system maintenance activities
Managing surface water run off and ensuring proper drainage to green areas
Coordinating with teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Conducting regular inspections and assessments of highway drainage systems
Reporting on system conditions and maintenance activities to higher management
Implementing and monitoring risk management strategies
Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
Managing resources and schedules effectively to meet project deadlines

Job Requirements:

Experience in supervising highway projects
Understanding of surface water run off and green area drainage
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and reporting skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Relevant qualification in a related field
