We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our builders cleans division. This key role involves managing cleaning teams, delivering high-quality results, and maintaining strong client relationships within the construction sector. The successful candidate will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, compliance with health and safety standards, and effective project management.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Plan and schedule builders cleans in line with construction project timelines, coordinating with site managers and contractors.
  • Manage the Procurement and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment. 
  • Recruit, train, and manage cleaning staff to maintain high standards across all projects.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and audits to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols, perform risk assessments, and certify team members for site work.
  • Act as the main point of contact for construction companies, managing relationships and expectations for repeat business.
  • Manage logistics and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Control project budgets, manage costs, and ensure job profitability.
  • Swiftly resolve on-site issues, such as staffing shortages or equipment malfunctions, to minimise operational disruption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, preferably in commercial cleaning or construction.
  • Strong understanding of builders cleans and construction site challenges.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in construction and cleaning.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Competency in budgeting, cost control, and project management.
  • Full UK driving licence.
