Our client, a manufacturer of precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power generation industry, are now looking for an Inspector to join them on their late shift.

Quality Inspector (Nights) 
Job Description

Visual and dimensional inspection using verniers, callipers, micrometres, gauges and projectors
Support the internal non-conformance process
Liaise closely with the engineering department to ensure the smooth transition of NPI
Learning how to use a 3D Scanner, Optical Measurement Machine, and Shadowgraph where necessary

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances with dimensional measurement tools (verniers, micrometres, gauges etc)
Well-versed working within a highly regulated/high precision industry
Willingness to learn how to use a shadowgraph, optical measurement machine, and 3D scanner
