Are you an experienced Production Operative with a background in CNC machinery, welding, and metal processing? Join our client's team where you'll play a crucial role in processing steel and operating a variety of machinery.

If you have worked in the steel or metals industry before then you would be a great fit for this business.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of their production team, your role will include operating both manual and CNC-based machinery to process steel, ensuring that products meet customer specifications and tolerances.

* Operate a range of machines, including Valiant drill, Endeavour drill, Voortman plasma machine, Bystronic laser, KBS 400, KBS 1001, Pegas and Pehaka saws, and Shotblasters.

* Read and interpret technical drawings, orders, and verbal instructions.

* Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure it's in good working order before starting your shift.

* Band, palletise, bag, and prepare customer orders for loading.

* Safely load and offload materials from plasma and laser machines.

* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and adhere to health & safety practices.

* Report any machine faults or breakdowns to the Production Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.

What They're Looking For:
They need candidates with experience operating CNC machinery, welding, and handling steel. Specific experience with the machines listed, operating combi lifts, and using measuring equipment will be beneficial.

* Experience with CNC machinery and welding.

* Familiarity with steel processing and technical drawings.

* Experience using measuring equipment to identify steel products.

* Ability to work well within a team and follow health and safety protocols.
