Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a growing, employee owned business based in South Manchester. The business is well established in the market and has a turnover of over £500m globally. They are creating a new role which with support the Financial Controller and Management Accounts team. The role is responsible for the month end accounts preparation, so experience of accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and taking accounts to trial balance is essential. The role will provide an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skill-set toward becoming a Management Accountant and be exposed to a variety of tasks. Study support is included for CIMA/ACCA as they are looking for someone keen to develop.

Responsibilities include: - Assisting in the preparation of the management accounts pack, working in a team of 3 to cover around 18 business entities.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
- Fixed asset maintenance for UK and EU offices
- Inter-company support with the processing and reconciliations of the sales and purchase ledger
- Support with expenses for credit cards and receipts
- Support the Senior MA with the external audit
- Supporting the team with any ad-hos
Experience & Skill Requirements: - Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA and looking to continue with study support available
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills to intermediate level
- Use of Oracle Netsuite would be beneficial
- Ambitious with an appetite to develop in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail when learning and processing information
- Able to work on own initiative and manage own workload to deadlines
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- A bright and confident person who will engage comfortably with the team
