Our client is dedicated to enhancing and maintaining the heritage of some of London's most prestigious buildings. The successful candidate will manage a range of projects including refurbishment, maintenance, and developments, with project values from £100k to £2m.Role Summary: The M&E Estimator will join a team that includes a Contract Manager, two Construction Estimators, and a Quantity Surveyor. The role demands significant experience in estimating for mechanical and electrical projects, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver accurate cost estimates.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and submit budget estimates for mechanical and electrical aspects of projects.* Analyze blueprints and technical documents to prepare detailed estimates for M&E systems.* Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during the estimating process.* Use data and market trends to provide timely and accurate estimates.* Maintain communication with contractors and clients to adjust project cost estimations as necessary.* Ensure all estimates comply with client standards and project specifications.Requirements:* Proven experience as an M&E Estimator.* Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their installation in various construction projects.* Excellent analytical skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.* Strong communication and negotiation skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.Application Process: Candidates should apply by submitting their CV and cover letter.
