What you will do

As a Senior College Services Advisor in the HR and Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of the college while contributing to its high standards of service. Your responsibilities will include leading HR administrative tasks such as staff recruitment and managing staff contracts, ensuring a seamless and professional process. Additionally, you will oversee finance administrative tasks, including managing student debt and college finances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.

You will assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks, safeguarding the college’s adherence to relevant standards. By maintaining accurate information on the student management system, you’ll support informed decision-making and efficient operations. Furthermore, you will assist in the maintenance, development, and quality assurance of student-facing content, enhancing the overall student experience.

This role offers the opportunity to lead key administrative processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the college’s operational success and student satisfaction.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Customer Service & Communication: Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to encourage these qualities in others.

  • Experience & Interests: A strong interest in education, particularly in supporting the wellbeing and safeguarding of international students.

  • Technical & Organisational Skills: Proficiency in IT (especially Microsoft Excel, including formulae, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables), strong organisational abilities, and effective time management.

  • Teamwork & Leadership: Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams, with experience leading activities or small teams to achieve goals.

  • Personal Attributes: Attention to detail, confidentiality awareness, initiative, flexibility, and a strong commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
