A client within the Public Sector based in South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Street Lighting Engineer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, ongoing contract position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a Local Authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to be undertaking the design, procurement and supervision of street lighting schemes.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Street Lighting Design for new houses development
New Street Lighting on new highway schemes
Agreeing final valuations and going to site to sort any issues out

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to have extensive experience in street lighting design and will be expected to demonstrate technical knowledge on a range of highway and street lighting related topics.

It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:

Induction of light professions , ideally a diploma or equivalent
A degree in HNC in civil engineering or an electrical background

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £37,363 to £41,438 per annum.
