Import Coordinator
Southampton
Salary up to £30,000
Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 5:30pm

Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our well known Freight client based in Southampton who are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to support with one of their largest accounts

Duties to include but not limited to:

* Ensure accurate customs and import declarations and input onto the system correctly

* Keep customers up to date with delays or issues around their shipments

* Ensure all jobs are loaded correctly onto the system for processing

* Manage the import process from start through to completion

* Communicate with third parties including hauliers

* Complete Bills Of Lading

* Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transactional process

Ideally you will:

* Have good knowledge of the Import, Export, Customs process across Air, Road and Sea Freight

* Have knowledge of CNS, Destin8 and CHIEF

* Have an understanding of freight rates

* Have good geographical knowledge

* Have experience in a similar role
