What You'll Do
- Lesson Setup & Prep: Organise materials and set up equipment for Food Technology lessons, ensuring readiness for practical activities.
- Classroom Assistance: Support students during lessons, guiding them in safety practices and assisting with culinary techniques.
- Textiles Support: Provide additional assistance in Textiles classes for years 7-9, helping engage students in creative activities.
- Resource & Equipment Management: Maintain and organise classroom resources, ensuring all equipment is clean, safe, and accounted for.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Prior experience as a Food Technician in a secondary school setting.
- Qualification: Level 3 qualification in a related field.
- Enhanced DBS: Current enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
- Organisational Skills: Capable of managing tools and materials efficiently for a well-prepared classroom.
- Passion for Learning: Enthusiastic about working with students, fostering a productive, hands-on learning environment.
- Ability to commute to secondary schools within Sheffield.
