We are seeking a detail-oriented Lease Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects related to lease accounting within our growing organisation.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Lease Accountant role will be:

• Manage all aspects of lease accountancy, including payments and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
• Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial advice and support to management.

Profile

The successful Lease Accountant should have:

• ACA/ACCA qualified - newly qualified/1 yr PQE
• Working knowledge of IFRS 16
• Ability to manage and analyse data
• Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables
• Experience of preparing reconciliations ? Practical approach to problem solving Desirable
• Exposure to an International market
• Experience with Lease Management System - LS or equivalent IFRS 16 platform
• Knowledge of accounting systems - Nav BC; OneStream
• Experience of working with multiple currencies
