CNC 5-Axis Miller Setter
Location: Northampton
Salary: £37,500+ DOE
Hours: 38 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced CNC 5-Axis Miller Setter with programming capability to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming 5-axis CNC milling machines with Siemens controls, ensuring high-precision machining to tight tolerances of 1-2 microns.
Key Responsibilities:

Set, operate, and program 5-axis CNC milling machines using Siemens controls.
Work to extremely tight tolerances (1-2 microns).
Handle batch work ranging from 10-100 pieces.
Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings accurately.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintain high levels of precision and attention to detail in all machining tasks.
Ensure machines are running efficiently and troubleshoot any issues.
Adhere to company health and safety procedures.Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a CNC 5-axis milling role 
Strong programming capability with Siemens controls desirable however, training will be given if experienced on another machine
Ability to read and understand 2D engineering drawings.
Skilled in self-inspection of machined components to ensure quality.
Experience working to extremely tight tolerances (1-2 microns).
