This role is ideal for someone with strong project engineering experience, ideally within an R&D or scientific environment.The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Proven experience in project engineering, ideally within R&D, scientific, or high-tech industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, product development, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing projects from concept through to production or implementation.
- Ability to coordinate between engineering, design, and manufacturing teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Project Engineer role will involve:
- Managing engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Working closely with R&D, design, and production teams to develop new products and solutions.
- Providing technical support and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring projects meet technical requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.
- Coordinating with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Creating and maintaining project documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
