We are looking for a Part Time Teaching Assistant to work in a number of schools across Newport. We are looking for both experienced Teaching Assistants and people looking to kick start their career in education.

Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant

Support the classroom teacher by taking on small groups of children, helping them with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Provide 1:1 support to students who need extra help.
Help with the planning and delivery of classroom materials.

Daily pay starting from £85 per day.

What we need from you?

An enhanced DBS check (Essential) which is subscribed to the update service.
Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
Two recent and professio0nal references
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting.
