I am recruiting for an experienced Air & Sea Import Coordinator for a Feltham-based client who is a leading, worldwide logistics and supply chain company, handling multi-modal freight within the EU, Middle East, and Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air and sea imports, as well as customs compliance. This is an office-based, Monday to Friday position, working from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with approximately 30-60 minutes to be worked 1 in 3 weekends to answer urgent queries or liaise with drivers.

Main Duties: 

• Handling both air and sea freight import shipments (majority sea freight).
• Assisting the air freight team with air freight shipments during periods of downtime.
• Completing customs declarations and using CDS.
• Using CargoWise and ASM Sequoia to handle import shipment bookings from start to finish.
• Handling general cargo as well as dangerous goods and temperature-controlled cargo on occasion.
• Liaising with agents and customers on a daily basis.

Key Requirements: 

• At least 2 years' experience handling air or sea freight (sea freight preferred).
• At least 2 years' experience handling import shipments (essential).
• Experience using ASM Sequoia, CargoWise, and/or CDS would be beneficial.
• Team player who is happy to muck in and get the job done together.
• Clear and confident communicator.
