Working closely with their PMO function and reporting to the CTO, the Business Analyst will play a key role in strengthening the business analysis capability across the organisation. This role focuses on bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, with a particular emphasis on requirements gathering for both internal development projects and SaaS implementation initiatives. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish robust approaches to capturing and documenting requirements.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
* Build strong relationships with business units, promoting effective engagement with business analysis processes.
* Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions, ensuring consistent and high-quality outputs.
* Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
* Provide guidance to business stakeholders on requirements articulation and documentation best practices.
* Create and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders on proposed solutions and their business benefits.
Solution Design and Implementation
* Evaluate potential SaaS solutions against documented business requirements, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
* Define integration requirements between new SaaS solutions and existing systems.
* Support the creation of test scenarios and user acceptance testing processes.
* Lead the business analysis aspects of implementation projects, ensuring solutions meet documented requirements.
* Establish and maintain a repository of business analysis artifacts and ensure knowledge transfer across the organisation.
Process Improvement
* Partner with the PMO to enhance and implement business analysis methodologies and best practices across the organisation.
* Create and maintain process documentation that supports continuous improvement initiatives and aligns with change management frameworks.
* Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements across the business.
* Establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness of business analysis activities and solution implementations.
* Monitor and report on the benefits realisation of implemented solutions.
The Person:
* Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience in evolving and maturing BA practices across organisations.
* Strong track record of working with diverse stakeholders and building effective requirements gathering processes.
* Experience in both custom development projects and SaaS implementation initiatives.
* Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
* Proven experience in process mapping and documentation.
* Experience in evaluating and implementing SaaS solutions.
* Strong understanding of integration requirements and considerations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Experience with requirements management tools and documentation platforms.
* Adaptive and patient approach to stakeholder management.
* Change management experience with the ability to influence and drive adoption of new processes.
The role is based from the London Head Office, offering hybrid working with up to 2 days per week home-based once you are up-to-speed.
