Sales Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Maidstone, Kent. The successful candidate will either be an experienced sales engineer within manufacturing / engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Graduate who is keen for a sales role within engineering. This would be an excellent opportunity to learn of senior members of the team. The role will involve travel 2-4 times a year to the Middle East (1 week at a time). This is for a financially secure international company who are looking for this position due to expansion. The role will be internally based with travel only being abroad.

Maintaining and growing key accounts and distributors.
Following up leads generated by the company's marketing activities and prospecting for new business, especially on core products.

Sales Engineer Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
Experience within a sales role in an engineering environment would be advantageous
Ideally the candidate would have some experience in the industrial abrasives & machinery.

Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary will be dependent on experience but likely £30k-£40k
