Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in steel fabrication? We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join a forward-thinking team within the structural steel industry.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage all aspects of cost control and commercial management on structural steel projects. Your expertise in NEC and JCT contracts will ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining profitability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Handle contract management, predominantly NEC (80%) and JCT (20%).
• Assess, negotiate, and manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, with a focus on NEC (80%).
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to work.
