We are seeking a dedicated Special Student Support Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing essential care and support to individuals, focusing on effective communication and education techniques. This position requires a compassionate individual with experience in toddler care and working with children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialised assistance to individuals with special education needs, specifically those with autism.
• Communicate effectively with individuals to ensure their needs are met and facilitate learning.
• Educate and support individuals in developing essential skills and behaviours.
• Offer toddler care services as needed.
• Collaborate with a team to create a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals.

Experience:

• Prior experience working with children, especially those with special education needs.
• Familiarity with special education practices and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
• Experience in toddler care is a plus.
• Knowledge of child development principles.
