New opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a growing firm based in Leeds City Centre. This firm offer a range of services to their diverse clients. You will have the opportunity to learn from some widely experienced individuals who are keen to help you learn, gaining invaluable experience throughout your career. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for a range of businesses.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns as and when required.
• Bookkeeping duties when needed.
• Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.

To qualify for this Trainee Accountant role, ideally you should be:

• Minimum AAT level 4 qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.
• 2+ years’ Practice experience as a Trainee Accountant.
• Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships.
• Strong IT skills, feel comfortable using cloud-based software.
