Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation and presentation of the monthly management accounts
• Review results in comparison to budget, forecasts, prior year
• Highlight trends, provide commentary & analysis, investigate anomalies
• Discuss and explain financial results with various budget-holders (visit sites as appropriate)
• Assist in the preparation of budgets

Management Accountant Skills and Experience:

• The company seeks an experienced management accountant, with a good understanding of the accounting fundamentals, and a stable work record
• Able to produce management accounts to a high standard
• Clear and confident communication style to present results to various budget-holders
• Professionally and tactfully inform/influence operational colleagues to drive improvement in financial results
• Strong Excel skills are required
