An established hotel in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations to lead and manage a dedicated team in a high-quality, customer-focused environment.
Key Details:

• Salary: Up to £30,000 per year
• Location: Glasgow
• Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
• Overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections and stock control.
• Developing and implementing cleaning procedures and ensuring they are consistently followed.
• Training, mentoring, and motivating staff to maintain high standards of work and performance.
• Managing and ordering housekeeping supplies and ensuring cost control.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and excellent guest experiences.
• Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Head Housekeeper role or similar, ideally within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
