HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers

Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a

Igloo is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers and Trainee Car Transporter Drivers for our client based in Derby.

We are looking for motivated individuals to train as 11+ car transporter drivers, as well as experienced professionals ready to join the team. This role requires a driver who is committed to providing excellent customer service, as you will represent the company directly to their clients. About the Role

* Driving an HGV car transporter carrying 11+ new or used vehicles.

* Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter.

* Conducting thorough vehicle checks before loading to ensure they are in good condition.

* Engaging directly with dealerships and clients.

* Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses in the region.

* Nights out as required.

What We're Looking For

* A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

* At least 6 months of driving experience in the last 2 years.

* An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card.

* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (minor offences only).

* Confidence driving vehicles onto trailers at height.

* Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high standards.

* A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
