LSCP Strategic Safeguarding Coordinator, Children’s ServicesPertemps are recruiting an experienced Strategic Safeguarding Coordinator to join Lewisham’s Safeguarding Children Partnership.  The LSCP Strategic Safeguarding Coordinator will jointly lead on the delivery of the operations of the Safeguarding Children Partnership, including manage the LSCP strategic business planning processes and ensure the operation of the LSCP, the Executive Partnership and sub/task groups. The coordinator will help to ensure that the partnership maintains high service standards and development to promote good outcomes for safeguarding children. The main purpose of the post is to jointly develop and deliver the LSCP strategic priorities and to lead partners to embed the new multi-agency practice standards outlined in Working Together 2023 and the DfE Pathfinder. Role requirements:

• A relevant professional qualification and/or substantial experience in the delivery of multi-agency services strategy and policy formation. 
• Substantial management experience of social care services for children or similar in Social Services or Health.
• Significant experience of policy and procedure drafting and implementation 
• Knowledge and experience of evaluation, quality assurance and auditing of organisations; and the approaches, processes and practice. 
• Knowledge of and effective project management
• Knowledge of complex case management in safeguarding children practice
