We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Apprentice to join the team on a full-time, fixed term apprentice basis. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £12,718 - £22,733 per annum.

About the role:

As a Marketing Apprentice you will support the Marketing Team in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that promote college courses, activities and services. The role will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including event coordination, market research and content creation.

Responsibilities as our Marketing Apprentice will include:

• Work closely with the Marketing Department to support on campaigns and events that promote the college
• Assist in the planning, promotion and execution of college events, including open days, new student events and Apprenticeships Unlocked
• Support with on-site event logistics, including setting up marketing materials, greeting guests and providing tours
• Conduct research on industry trends and target audiences, to help inform strategies
• Track application numbers to highlight areas of the college that may require marketing support
• Provide support in the creation of digital content, including videos and graphics
• Monitor the storage and movement of all marketing collateral, including banners, merchandise and print materials
• Work closely with college departments to align marketing campaigns with college objectives
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as updating contact lists and reports

As our Marketing Apprentice, you’llideally have:

• Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
• A strong interest in pursuing a career within marketing
• Familiarity with social media and digital platforms
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Communication skills including written and verbal
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attendance at college events ie open evenings including outside of normal working hours
