HGV Driver Trainer

Pay rate: £43,000 OTE

We are looking for HGV Driver Trainers to start immediately for our client in Thetford.

The successful HGV Driver Trainer will receive:

Basic: £37,000 salary

Overtime: £22.83/h (after 40hrs per week)

£250 monthly incentives

What to expect as a HGV Driver Trainer:

Working Monday to Friday you will deliver a range of duties in support of the regional transport team.

Duties incude but not limited to:

• Implementation and review of health, safety and environment policies
• New driver on-boarding
• All driver training
• Accident & incident investigations
• Driver tool-box talks
• Driver compliance
• Traffic office support
• Driver absence support
• Vehicle gate checks

You must possess strong communication, planning & time management skills. The ability to work under pressure and remain complaint is essential.

As a HGV Driver Trainer you must:

Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement

Previous experience as driver trainer

SAFED or equivalent trained

ADR training preferable

Bulk liquid fuel distribution experience

Current CPC & Tacho card

Strong IT skills

Have no more than 6 effective penalty points
