We are delighted to be working with this progressive manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Newcastle in their search for an experienced Assistant Accountant.

THIS POSITION IS FULLY OFFICE BASED.

• Reporting to the Finance Manager
• Inputting and processing both sales and purchase invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Posting journals
• Nominal ledger coding
• Accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations including foreign currency and invoice finance accounts
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Dealing with supplier and general finance queries
• Assisting in month end accounts production
• Payment runs
• Petty cash and expenses

Hours 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Holidays 22 days + bank holidays.

Salary £28-32k
