Chef

£15.50 per hour, HG5, 7am - 5pm, part time hours, 28 days holiday, pension, free parking, Temporary role

Due to long term sickness we are looking for an experienced Chef to support this care home kitchen team on a temporary basis in Knaresborough. Working alongside an experienced catering team you will:

Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and a light tea
Follow menu plans
Adhere to food safety, allergen and health and safety procedures
Work with the kitchen team to ensure all tasks are completed efficientlyWe would expect the successful chef to be confident working in a professional kitchen and to be able to cook meals from set menus with minimal guidance.

This would be an ideal role if you have worked as an agency or relief chef and you are used to adapting to different kitchens. Experience of working in a care home is useful but not essential.

You will be working in Knaresborough care home with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The catering team is strong and established and look forward to working with you!
