Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Southwark, South East London

Contract Type: Full-Time Temporary (Immediate start until July 2025)

Salary: £100 - £110 per day

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark. The successful candidate will provide support across various classrooms as needed, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily classroom activities
Support small groups in numeracy, literacy, and reading.
Collaborate with teachers to meet pupils' individual needs.
Provide tailored support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including those with Autism and behavioural challenges.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working in a primary school setting.
Confidence in supporting learners with ALN.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in a 1:1 support role.
