Production Operative    
£24,000 plus overtime (time and a half)
 
We are delighted to be looking for Production Operative for a client of ours based in Witney.    
This Production Operative position is working for a Swimming pool company in Witney.  The job is to travel to site and install the vinyl liners into the clients' new swimming pools during the construction phase.  The locations of the sites are spread across the UK so you must be able to travel Mon-Fri and stay away several nights in a row. You would not be away over weekends.  Overnight costs and evening meals are covered by the company under expenses as well as an allowance for breakfast and lunch.  Full training will be given over a minimum of 18 months with the title of Onsite Lining Operative.
Tasks for Onsite Lining Engineer/Production Operative to include

Handling, measuring, cutting and installing vinyl to precise measurements
Heat welding/joining the vinyl with handheld heat guns
Ensuring high quality installation and aesthetic appearance
Travel around the UK and staying near site locationsMon-Fri with a salary of £24,000.  Overtime is also available paid at time and a half. Flexibility in terms of being able to stay away and working hours is key due to the nature of the job.  Experience in Roofing/Welding/Construction/carpet fitting or any trade that requires precise work/measuring/cutting/heat welding would be an advantage.
You will be provided with a work van and all the needed tool, you will travel/work in pairs with a colleague.  You should have a drivers license so that the driving can be shared over long distances.
