Client Summary:
Our client are the UK-based leader in manufacturing vehicle adaptions for people with mobility challenges. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, we produce disability lift hoists and related components, empowering individuals with independence and freedom!

We are now recruiting for a skilled and detail-orientated Powder Coater to join the team.

Applicants should have a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities:
* Preparing surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as necessary.
* Operating powder coating equipment, ensuring proper application techniques are followed.
* Inspecting finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
* Fabricating and assembling components as required prior to coating.
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, always adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
* Performing routine maintenance on equipment and reporting any issues promptly.

Requirements:
* An engineering background with an ability to read technical drawings.
* Demonstrable Experience in powder coating / paint shop / manufacturing
* The ability to use hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication and assembly tasks.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential.
* Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
* Familiarity with painting techniques and processes.
* A strong attention to detail to finish items to a high standard
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to prioritise you own workload and work well under minimal supervision
