We are seeking a talented and driven AI/Automation Specialist to apply your skills to our client's procurement and invoice reconciliation, to streamline their process by using automation and AI-driven solutions.

The business is growing quickly and they want to find someone who can undertake this work as an initial project then look at where AI and Automation can be used in all areas of their thriving construction company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing AI automation in a greenfield situation or within financial systems, with experience integrating and reconciling data across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Reconcile Purchase Orders & Invoices:

- Ensure that purchase orders issued on Onso (our procurement and ordering system) align with invoices on Xero (our invoicing system).

- Identify discrepancies and automate reconciliation using AI-powered solutions. Material Delivery Reconciliation:

- Collect and upload all material delivery tickets onto Onso.

- Cross-check deliveries with invoices to ensure that missing materials are not charged.

- Automate ticket processing and reconciliation to improve efficiency. Invoice Adjustments & Compliance:

- Ensure that invoices are updated to reflect reconciliations from purchase order and material delivery verifications.

- Implement AI-driven checks to flag errors and discrepancies before invoices are processed.

- AI & Automation Implementation:

- Develop, implement, and maintain AI-powered bots to automate reconciliation and error detection.

- Integrate AI solutions with Onso and Xero to optimize financial workflows.

- Continuously improve automation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills and Experience Required

* Strong understanding of AI and automation tools (e.g., Python, Zapier, UiPath, Power Automate).

* Ability to develop and deploy AI bots for reconciliation and financial data processing.

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in process automation and digital transformation.
