Driver Hire (Torbay) are looking for Stores & Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Newton Abbott. This is on a temp-to-perm contract.

Key Role Details:

• Salary: £12.00

• Typical working hours: 08:00 - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
• Your annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 28 days, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement.
• Following the completion of 5 years' continuous service, holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays
• Pension 5% employee and 3% employer contribution
• Full UK/EU Licence

Day-to-Day duties:

• Receive, check and store goods in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Inspect deliveries for damage and accuracy and report any discrepancies to the appropriate department
• Ensure a safe and secure working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
• Manage stock levels and ensure adequate stock is available and in good condition
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and sack trucks
• Provide support to other departments within the company
• Maintain accurate records and documents
• Perform general housekeeping duties as required

Essential skills and Experience:

• Experience in a stores and warehouse environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrate the ability to produce high quality work
