About the Role:

Zen Educate is delighted to partner with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Horsham, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant. This role is focused on providing one-on-one support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs, specifically Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), who exhibits minimal behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to the pupil during morning sessions, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.

* Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement and adapt educational plans.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the pupil remains engaged and supported.

* Monitor and report on the pupil's progress, adapting strategies as needed.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly ASC and ADHD, is highly desirable.

* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.
