Logistics Coordinator

We are recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing Logistics team based in the Cheshire location. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient and seamless logistics process to Export goods across UK and Europe mainly via Road. You will be the main point of contact for all 3PL's as well as Hauliers managing the process and ensuring all deliveries/shipments are delivered within set SLA's.

* First point of contact for customers and suppliers.

* Managing 3PL'S and Hauliers ensuring delivery timeframes are achieved.

* Manage and book all Transport allocation across multiple Hauliers, ensuring all Vehicle booking slots are booked to achieve customer delivery timeframes.

* Operate 3rd party Logistics on the warehouse management system.

* Building key relationships with Hauliers, track and monitor the progress of customer deliveries ensuring any logistics issues are dealt with efficiently.

* Working closely with internal departments across the business to ensure customer demands are fulfilled.

* Producing weekly Haulier reports using SAP and Excel to monitor any inefficiencies.

* Record all KPI Failures for weekly management meetings.

* Goods delivery planning and execution in line with customer demand profile and stock availability.

* Effective and efficient transport allocation across contract Haulier base to meet business strategy and

objectives in line with budget and cost model.

* Support day-day administration of yard management systems and vehicle booking slot systems.

* Working closely with customs brokerage to ensure all relevant documentation and paperwork is completed.

* Warehouse Management - Support the effective and efficient allocation of stock & stock rotation with compliance with business best practices and have a positive impact to budgetary objectives.

* Logistics first line of support for business MRP system - SAP warehouse management to ensure accurate alignment and company reporting of company stock position.

* Provide input to the daily, weekly, monthly engagement with internal & external customers.

* Provide input to the daily, weekly, monthly engagement with external partners / suppliers.

* Point of escalation and routine cover for out-of-hours & weekend delivery requirements.

* Provide ad hoc support to team leader responsibilities.

Experience required:

Export and warehousing Logistics (UK & Europe)| Movement of stock across Multiple warehousing locations| Customs & Excise knowledge and requirements | Managing 3PL's and Hauliers| Excellent knowledge and use of WMS, SAP, MS Office
