We are working with a specialist business based in Newcastle who are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
* Service, Repair of Hydraulic/Pneumatic bolting equipment
* Calibration and Testing of Hydraulic/Pneumatic bolting equipment
* Service, Repair, of hydraulic/pneumatic/manual Industrial equipment
* Testing and Calibration of hydraulic/pneumatic/manual Industrial equipment
* Creating Test and Calibration certificates
* Fault Finding and Trouble shooting
* Supporting the stores especially when absent and during busy times
* Assembly of new equipment
Knowledge & Experience
* Controlled Bolting Equipment Maintenance & Repair skills
* Industrial Hydraulic Equipment Maintenance & Repair skills
* Calibration Knowledge
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Experience in the industrial sector is a plus
* Time Served in Mechanical Engineering or related field
