Head of FP&A ACA/ACCA/CIMASouth London6-month FTC - Permanent

A leading and growing London company is seeking a qualified, Head of FP&A, for their offices in South London. The ideal candidate will come from either a private equity background or a large corporate, you will be hands on with demonstrable system accounting skills, and experience of business partnering across all areas of the business. The Head of FP&A will be strategic and have the ability to contribute to the longer-term vision of the finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Budget process transformation
  • Lead 3-year corporate plan
  • Provision of accurate management information
  • Analysis of business activities and cost drivers to SLT
  • Provide recommendations to improve company financial performance
  • Planning models to aid improved efficiency and accuracy of planning processes
  • Review/evaluate FP&A processes and workflows
  • Develop systems to improve efficiency of processes and information flows
  • Develop a strong understanding of the financial profile and modelling of the business
  • Maximise profitability
  • Production, analysis and evaluation of business cases to support projects and initiatives including supporting directors and management team in costing of annual pay negotiations

Experience

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience within a senior management role within FP&A
  • Extensive analysis skills
  • Proven record of redesigning and developing financial processes and implementing change
  • People management and development
  • Experience within the transportation industry would be desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to detail complex financial issues with both finance and non-finance
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Strong system accounting skills, Oracle and TM1 preferred
  • Influencing and leadership skills
