We are looking for a Goods In Operative who is looking for a new challenge for their Chelmsford, Essex based hub.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company on a Permanent Basis, with on-going progression and training opportunities.

Duties of Goods In Operative:

Booking and accurately recording all incoming stock
Processing order returns correctly
Ensuring stock is all placed back in the correct location
Making sure all areas of goods in are always kept organised, tidy and compliant with health and safety rules
Basic testing of returned goods to identify any faults or defects
Work closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Any other warehouse tasks required - picking orders, stock checks, etc..

The Ideal Goods In Operative:

Previous experience within a logistics distribution and supply chain company is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Basic understanding of computer systems
Able to lift stock varying of size and weight
Work effectively within a team environment
Forklift Licence (counterbalance or reach) is preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate

Monday - Friday
Hours vary between - 08:00 - 18:00 (37.5 hour week) - Flexible working hours
