Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our dynamic team based in Trafford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students up to Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and shape the future of the automotive industry by equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed for successful careers in the motor vehicle sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Develop and update curriculum materials in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and achievements.
- Support students in their preparation for assessments, exams, and future employment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and teaching practices.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Essential Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Relevant qualifications in Motor Vehicle Studies (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or higher).
- Proven experience teaching Motor Vehicle Studies at Levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle industry and current automotive technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider goals of the department.
