Hariley Solutions our currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Livingston. If you have a proven track record in HGV Mechanics and are looking for a new opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment, this role could be the perfect fit for you!

Location: Livingston

Hours: 4on 4off Days & Nights 6am/6pm

Salary: Basic salary Days £40,902 Nights £45,477

Key Responsibilities as an HGV Technician:

* Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers

* Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation

* Overhaul electrical equipment and components

* Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment

* Welding and metal working

* Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation

* Parts ordering and stores management

* Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required

* Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs

* Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed

* Other work within normal grade/job skills as required

* Ad-hoc duties as required

* Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance

Qualifications:

* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent, or considered qualified by experience

* Excellent customer service mindset

* Great communication skills

* Ability to work quickly and effectively

* Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Technician

* Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing

* Diagnostics skills/qualifications - desirable

* Fleet experience
