Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to £31,000

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our client's team and contribute to the overall management and success of the nursery. In this role, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the provision of high-quality care and education for all children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years or above
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a nursery setting, with a deep understanding of childcare best practices and legislative requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a genuine passion for nurturing and developing young minds.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record keeping and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including managing staff, creating schedules, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, while also implementing and refining policies and procedures to meet the needs of children and families.
• Support the professional development and mentorship of nursery staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Lead communication with parents and families, fostering strong relationships within the local community.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement and development of the nursery's curriculum and activities, ensuring engaging and enriching experiences for children.
