Sewell Wallis are working with a Harrogate based client who are looking for a competent Management Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative team.

This role will work directly with the Finance Manager to accurately produce the management accounts whilst supporting a small team, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for supervisory exposure to build on their skill set.

There is plenty of scope to progress within the business and study support will be offered once probation is passed.

What will you be doing?

Support the Finance Manager in preparing the monthly management accounts.
Analysis and review of various budgets.
Liaise with stakeholders and other senior members throughout the business.
Profit margin analysis.
Assist with the audit process.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial reporting.What skills are we looking for?

AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
A good understanding and working knowledge of the management accounts process.
Strong Excel skills.
The ability to successfully work as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.What's on offer?
